“The Stallions” : a befitting 3rd experience

The Stallions will be showing up for the Africa Nations championship for the third time third time since its inception in 2009.Emanating from the Western Zone B alongside other countries like Benin, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Niger Nigeria, and Togo, Burkina Fasso was able to pull down heavy weight Ghana who will be out for the second for the second time consecutively. In the first leg that was played in Ghana on the 22nd of September 2019, Ghana lost by 1 – 0 thanks to a late goal scored by Stephane Pognongo in the last minutes of the game. Though with the determination of the Black stars to qualify by all cost, the Stallions did not relax in their own land as they forced a barren draw with Ghana during the return leg match on the 20th of October 2019. They are going to be accompanied by Niger, and Togo of the West zone to the final phase of the 2020 CHAN in Cameroon.
